Thanks hexxed. I'm fairly sure that the recent emails are unrelated to the issue and I've decided to just wait and see what happens (sounds like everything should be fine from your experience).

The problem with loading up the wallet is that you get penalised by entropay for account inactivity after 6 months, so I don't want to max out my wallet if I can avoid it.

My Entropay card has now expired and been updated. Same card number, new expiry date and new security code. Updated my details on the PSN without any trouble.

The only thing of note is that Entropay did not warn me of the expiry leading up to the 1st of the month, or within the first few days of it. I logged on to the entropay site on the yesterday and my old card was still showing as OK. 24 hours later I received confirmation that the card had been renewed.

I have no idea if purchases would have been rejected during this period, but its probably worth logging in soon after the card expires just to be sure.

I just signed up for an Entropay card. Can I ask which currency you selected when signing up ? Was it GBP or USD ?

The reason I ask is that I chose GBP as my currency. Loaded my card with ?10 (which cost me ?10.50) and then linked it to one of my US PSN accounts.

I then funded my PSN account with $5. Returned to my Entropay account to check my balance and available spend to find that my available spend was ?5.89 !!!

That confuses me as I believe the current exchange rate to be about $1.60 so I was expecting my remaining balance to be more like ?6.89.

Hence my question or are there other charges that I am not aware of ??

I use USD so don't really know what is going on there.

            Thanks for posting.

The transaction hasn't gone through so will wait and see what my balance is once it has done.

Im just going to go and start this whole process of getting a HK, JP and US account on my UK ps3. Got a quick Q...

When setting up an Entropay account, do you have to use your real UK address to add funds to your psn account for US/JP/HK transactions?

And do you have to set up separate Entropay accounts for each psn store, eg 3 in total - a US one, a JP one and a HK one?

Just tried using Wirepay and it's declined two different cards. Anyone know if this is blocked as a potential fraud provention thingy?

Finally gotten around to sorting a JP PSN account but now that I'm on the store a little underwhelmed. Lots of PSP and PS1 items but seemingly very little PS3 wise.

Eventually found the demos section and was only about 20 there. Do they get removed? Bayonetta demo was notably absent and that was the main reason I went on. Didn't it only go up a month ago?

Yeah, they prune stuff from PSN far more often than Live Marketplace.

The only thing they've ever "pruned" were the Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 demos. There is a box to select the older stuff. You can go right back to RR7.

J0e, can you point me in the direction of the box to select older stuff.

At the moment I go to the option near the bottom of the main menu (has the letters PV in it). In there is a PS3 icon (second row, second from the right I think) that I assume is the demo section. It contains 40 items (not 20 as I incorrectly said originally) sorted in reverse date order, some of which go back to 2006 (so demos from launch). However there is definitely no Ridge Racer 7 demo there so I do think a few things have been removed over time.

Oddly, there does still seem to be a Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 item there for download (approx 1.2GB in size) that I presume is a demo.

I've even used the search facility for Bayonetta and all I get is 4 videos.

I think the answer is no, but is it possible to change the region of your PSN account?
I'm moving from England back to Australia soon and have a ton of PSN content I've bought in the UK store. I know I can create a new account but would prefer to be able to have just one.

Sorry for the silly question but once you have downloaded a JP game demo via your JP profile can you access and play that through all other profiles on the machine? Or will it just be the JP profile?
