LOL good luck on getting the pokemon centre yellow one your going to need a way to bid on yahoo & very deep pockets.

The lottery is only for the grand reopening of the pokemon centre on that day & you have to win to be selected to be able to buy it.

Wont stop me though i'll probably have a go at getting one on yahoo.

Looks a lot better than all the other so called ds lite limited editions which have been absolute ****e. Standard colour lite with added boring artwork does not make it a limited edition, looks boring & not worth the cash they are going for.

Limited edition to me means something radically different from all the colours you can normally buy. The colour changing gba's were a perfect example.

Looks from this article that you have a month in which to visit one of the five Pok?mon Centers in Japan and fill in the application to buy one of these.

Much more convent to buy is the Swarovski Nintendo DS, available from their London boutiques for only ?549.00.

Why do you talk of bidding on Yahoo, rather than eBay?

Ahh a month isn't too bad then (^_^), I chose Yahoo because yahoo is where they will appear in the most numbers. So the chances of getting one for a reasonable(ish) price is a bit higher than ebay where i doubt many will appear.

But hey who knows i could be totally wrong so we'll just have to wait & see.

Is this because Yahoo Auctions is more popular in Japan than fleaBay, or having I been missing out for my UK & US auctions?

Most japanese people seem to use yahoo over ebay, so if the item your after is japanese it tends to appear in higher numbers on yahoo than ebay.

Well thats what i have noticed.

It's rude to take such a superior attitude.

For me, the DS has been an enjoyable, but I don't think it's given me as big a kick as other people. Most of the titles I've liked the best have been the more traditional titles such as Pokémon, New Super Mario Bros, Phoenix Wright and Mario Kart DS, along with other established franchises from the GBA like Advanced Wars. I'd like to see more creativity along the lines of Kirby's Magic Paintbrush/Canvas Curse; that was a genius way of adapting a format to the touch screen, really early on in the system's life.

Thank god we got over the 'minigame game' mania early on though. The Wii is still languishing in that mode a little.

Nothing superior about it, if you think your gonna spot hundreds of them on ebay with ?70 BIN's then your living in a dreamworld. Don't be suprised to see them go for a few hundred.

If you ever tried getting hold of the pokemon centre editions, some of them are stupidly hard to get.

Who said they would be? I'm pretty sure laughing at someone saying they think they'll get one would be considered a superior attitude.

Thanks for indulging my curiosity - I'll bear that in mind if there's anything Japanese I want in the future.
