Nice for all the people who aren't able to use credit/debit cards!

I do prefer the look of the cards they showed at the PS3 launch though.

I wonder if these will be for certain regions like the Wii cards? I know that you can't use them in other Stores yet as there is no option to but hopefully you'll have the option to use where ever you want to.

When I add funds to my US account on the PS3 the card option is there. I'm pretty sure it was there on the EU store too when I ordered Tekken 5 back at release.

Hope they are region free (Or that the other regions follow shortly after), I would prefer to use them than mess about with Wirecard (And their fees).

It's not on the European Store yet and Sony are still giving the "No plans for Europe" line.

I imagine they'll end up here sometime though...

Well if any members in Japan fancy picking me up a 5000 Yen card, I can pay them by bank transfer to a UK account or even Paypal them.

Nope. Ive been looking round and havent found them anywhere, couldnt even find them on amazon japan.

Heh... I know 2 guys in Japan, but neither have paypal and I'm not sure how I'd credit their US bank account over here.

They certainly do. You could also try the Wirecard method in the sticky, though transferring funds to that seems to be borked at the moment.
