I want to live in Vice City!!!

I feel a bit silly admitting to this but its true.
Since the moment I 1st played GTA Vice City it just made me feel like it was my ideal gaming world. Its probably down to my age seeing as I'm 31 yrs old & grew up in the 80's.

From the 80's music, to the bright colours, to the glamerous locations, to weaving in & out of the traffic on a bike for the 1st time, to pulling up on the beach & watching the sun set or the rain come down. Its just perfect!!

If I could move there I would & if there were such a place in the world i.e. Miami stuck in the 80's I really would consider moving there.

I still slap Vice City in my XBOX every now n then just to savour that 80's feeling!!

Anyone else feel like this, even if its a different game?

I'll say Shenmue before someone else does

That place in BG&E (Illys?). It just seemed to have a nice atmosphere - areas of busyness and spots of tranquility.

lCyrodiil. Pretty goodness. Lots of towns based on different historical time periods. Mountains, forests, meadows, farms, hamlets, caves, lakes, the coast. It's all good!

The unnamed village in RE4. Imagine being able to just run around and kill stuff all day every day!

...And they say games breed violence!

I think I'd like a few days on Yoshis Island.

That guy in Juno Harbour in FFVII wanted to sell his diner. I would totally have bought it and moved in.

Yeah, I felt the same way when I played Vice City. Living there, cruising down the beach front listening to 80s tunes would be awesome.

The world of Ico would be a nice place to spend some time. As long as you don't have horns.

I wanna live in Jolly Rancher Bay from SM64. But it would have to be with the background music playing all the time. That level is so relaxing. I sometimes put on my N64 just to have a swim around in the level. Its brilliant

For a time I'd have said Liberty City from GTA3, because when it was first released, a couple flatmates and I spent a good couple years playing it to death. I know we spent too much of our college years in Liberty City, but we just loved it's dank depressing setting and inhabitants. lol. Will be a bit sad to see it become overwritten by the new GTA4.

But now, maybe Oddworld or something. Somewhere where life is simple - New Yolk City I guess.

Blatantly one of the Pokemon worlds. Can't even remember any of the names now.

Meant to be some sort of bug or flu spreading round there, mind.

                              What a nerdy thread!

I'm gonna go for Isle Delfino from Mario Sunshine. Oh, and i'd quite like a burn on a jet-ski around Drake Lake too please
