Piyotama Egg-based puzzle game

I downloaded this from the JPN store. It costs 800 Yen. It's pretty good. Basically, you have to arrange eggs into diagonals, rows or columns of 4. Once you have a line, you gently shake the Sixaxis to hatch the eggs and they disappear. I haven't played it loads (just once actually) but I can see myself going back to this again and again.

Also, the good news is that it seems to be entirely in English. I suspect it's a multilingual game that defaults to your console language.

Give it a go, there's far worse out there on the PSN.

If you shake the pad, the 'highlighted' eggs hatch a bit quicker, it also nudges the play field and shakes the eggs about a bit.

What about the eggs at the bottom that you move? Are they just there to help you create the rows of four?

It does get easier when you work out that you can move the bar up & down as well as left and right!!!

I'd definately recommend it!

Try to remember that most of that video was instruction videos from the game though...it's not quite so easy in the proper game.

LOL, it took me a couple of goes before I realised you could move the bar up, down, left & right too.

It is a lot of fun!

I'm not completely convinced that this would be sure to get a UK release either as it's a very Japanese game.

Hopefully it will so people here don't miss out on it.

After some more play it is fun, but its also very easy. played endless for about half an hour and never got anywhere near failing. means i'll probably tire of it quite quickly...

You'll find longevity in the Limited mode where racking up big combos are the key to high scores. I got hooked trying to get a score of 100,000.
