I believe that was a render released awhile ago by the company who were contracted by Polyphony to model the cars, was it not?

Completely anal redundant point but (mainly as its surprising it hasn't been properly attempted yet) it'll be nice when they start trying to include dirt/dust particles etc as standard so the cars start to look realistic instead of these uber reflective off the production line silicony looks. It's impressive but starting to look too hyper-real. Like IO said though... that's an admittedly silly point considering

I cant see this getting a December release here. Sony wouldn't risk not running pre-sales campaigns or pre-marketing with retail on such a high profile game surely. I wish it would hurry up, it's about all I'm holding onto my PS3 for and even then I know it'll be pretty naff by today's standards

with the ps3 region free i'll be tempted to buy the usa release if the above happens.

I believe their goal is a worldwide release. In Europe, a viral marketing campaign should also start soon.
