Mario RPG on a PAL snes

Would Mario RPG run on a modified SNES with lockout chip disabled and 50/60 mod added ? If not then which adapters can be confirmed 100% working with it ?

i have a modded SNES and i was told when i bought it that mario rpg would not work, along with a few other jap games

I have a Datel Pro Universal Adaptor which runs it perfectly on my unmodded Pal Snes.
But I always play it on my US Snes

It will work on a modded PAL SNES (in fact I've heard from a few sources that it it won't work on anything else?) - BUT apparently there are 2 versions of Mario RPG. One will work, the other won't. Not much help I know, but.... I've got a copy and it runs just fine on my PAL modded SNES.
