I the only one who found it incredibly tense knowing that around the next corner I could get shot after spending aaages carefully planning a mission and spending a serious ammount of time trying to (so far) sucessfully execute it, the thought that 1 bullet through your head by making a wrong move made it incredibly tense, the atmosphere too, scarier than any survival horror game imo.

Silent Hill - had to stop playing it, it really was terrifying..even in broad daylight.

Alien vs Predator 2 - the bit early one where some pipes fall from the ceiling...nearly shat myself, shot about 10 rounds in the air, nearly fell of my chair and the mouse ended up on the floor...shesh

RE saga - things jumping out always get me...no matter what.
