I like it. Graphically it looks ye old, but the gameplay has nice mechanics. It's very PES/ISS, but there's the odd couple of ideas I reckon Konami may have been influenced by. The dive feature (pressing L1 + L2) is the obvious one, but I reckon the control of the second man could of influenced the new Wii PES. Whilst on the ball, if you press and hold L1 (usually you tap to become the player nearest to ball) you will control the nearest player to yours, making him make a run into space manually. I's a very nice touch, although your player on the ball seems to stop dead at this point... would be nice if you could control both with both analog sticks. Maybe there's a way - I've only had a couple of matches.

Anyone know the real use of the target around your player? I thought it would of been for manual passing, but the ball just goes straight to a player in the general direction you face.

Would love Namco to have a go at making a PS3/360 version, but I'm guessing not. Would make for a nice change.

It IS for manual passing. It's hard to explain but as you move the stick, you'll notice the cursor moves before your player does. It's at this point your manual pass will go in the direction of the cursor.

Also, try winning all the cups to unlock possibly the two worst teams in any game ever!!!

When trying to pass using the reticule, the ball just seemed to go straight to the player in the suggested direction. You know in PES/WE where if you press R3 and a direction the ball can be moved into a space rather than to the player... is it like that? I couldn't seem to get it to work. Will play some more later on.
