Super Mario All-Stars?

Sorry to anyone who may have clicked on here with excitement thinking it was on the VC.

Anyway, do you think we'll ever see this on the VC? It probably makes business sense to Nintendo to not release it, because they'd make more money from releasing each NES game one by one. But I'm holding out with hope because I want the Snes versions of these games!

I think we will see it yes, but only once all the NES games have been released and sales have dried up!

The NES Super Mario Bros 2 JAPAN is being localised for EU/USA for the VC it would seem!

They could have released it for the GBA, but they made much more money releasing the series separately. That's business

I find it difficult to believe that there will be many games that Nintendo don't re-release via the VC to be honest lol. Nintendo aren't exactly strangers to getting people to buy the same games on about 4 different consoles!

I know I'd buy it again!!! I remember reading about Yoshi's Story being released on VC and I loved it even though I know it wasn't exactly popular.

Anyway back to Mario All-stars, it seems everyone thinks Nintendo is gonna cash in before we see this game, so it could be ages. I've got the original packed away, but I wanna play it on the VC.

I am sure that it will come. I remember staying at a hotel in Jasper earlier this year and thay had Mario All Stars on the pay-to-play tv-console thingy. Just be patient it will happen. Not quite the same topic (and I may not be making much sence here) but I was supprised at how quickly street fighter 2 turbo surfaced after the original on the VC.

Personally, I wouldn't be bothered if they never released this. I prefer the retro charm of SMB + SMB3 on the NES (I never cared for 2). Plus if I want 16-Bit Mario I'll play the far superior Super Mario World.
