There's the odd music thread here and there, but couldn't find one for general gaming. I'm always looking for more sites to find soundtracks (and remixes - cheers Concept)
Thought it would be cool if people post some links to some of their favourite video game music. Kind of like the favourite game intro thread a while back.
Here's some of my fav's:
Club Paris from MSR. Richard Jacques is a legend.
Liquid Mario (click download tab) - This is a remix of a level in Super Mario 64 (one of the levels being Dire, Dire Docks') from ocremix.org
The Air - This is from the 2nd part of the Windy Vally level in Sonic Adventure. The cheesy ones are the best!
Pleasure Castle This is from the 2nd part of Twinkle Park Zone, also in Sonic Adventure.
The opening music in Metal Gear Solid 2 is brilliant! you know when Snake is walking along the bridge? I dunno why but I love it. Harry Gregson Williams makes Metal Gear Solid games what they are You could tell his work was missed in Twin Snakes, which would be my favourite Metal Gear game if he made the music in that game.
Also if anyone hasn't heard any of the 3 Halo Soundtracks then you're missing out, some great stuff in those albums. Haven't got a link for any tracks from that, must be the copy right.
