I normally stay very calm, and come out with sarky put downs, delivered totally straight:

"You know, you really should practice more often"
"How come it's your game, yet I still always manage to win?"
"I thought {insert name} was supposed to be your best character?"

...etc. etc. until I get punched.

when im playing one console or another im usually sitting on the floor. so when i came to score the winning goal of the world cup on the hardest difficulty setting on pes2 i promptly went up on my knees arms outstrecthed in the air yelling 'YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESsss'. after that it was simply the matter of swaying side to side and mimeing 'we are the champions'

Remember WaveRace64, remember the SEROIUSLY funky music on the name enrty screen I think it was, the loser in teh race had to dance, head spin etc to that music, the ultimate humiliation.

I do sometimes use the specific victory call of the character. In Mario Kart 64, I'd always snigger; "I'm a Wario, and I'm a gonna ween!"

I find I self congratulate myself as a commentator in the third person:

"Oh my WORD that was the greatest shot I have ever seen anyone pull off" or "Oooof! The way the ball just dipped over the net is the sign of a player at the very top of his game".

Usually if its a fighting game against a tough AI I too can be found yelling take that bitch. I love to keep hitting them after the fight is over just to completely dominate their sorry ass.

Lately I notice when I'm playing games, I trash talk the television. I don't know why but it feels good.

When I finally cracked Initial D's story mode, I found myself saying '****ing yes!' but then it had taken me ages to beat the last chapter.

IF it's Evo, and I'm playing a nippy AI player, I tend to hit them as many times after the KO as possible, whilst muttering, "Take that bitch".

You do this to me when you're losing a lot.


As for me it's only really evo and each character has a move I think looks cool and I'll spam it when I win around. My favourite would be Jeff's threat stance.

Recently I have been getting in with a different gaming crowd. You know, the ones who (dare I use the word casual) don't play as much as we do, but still play. Halo is the main reason for this as we mostly play team games, making it a bit fairer (they couldn't touch me at anything else, or Halo one to one.....know the kind of gamer I mean now?). Anyhow, the amount of abuse that comes out of two of my friends mouths is just incredible. During the game......winning or losing.....it doesn't matter. You really need to see them in action. Shocking.

Personally I favour a good old mumble along the lines of 'oh yeah' 'I'm so good' 'ha!' 'take that bitch' when I am playing alone. With friends it is merley a I-am-so-good sigh. Ahhhhhhhh

When i'm playin any of my mates or peeps at anything, i do the Soccer Am style Tim Lovejoy handshake most of the time when i win. I say good game or something like that, and hold out my hand to shake then take it away "the ultimate insult" n it really rubs it in (This is normally only against people i knw, in fear of being punched in the face if i did not knw the person). Trash talk obviously also used throughout.

When it's the computer i just swear at the screen and taunt it.

in multiplayer I usually jus cuss the person I've beaten (I sorta do it when I lose too tho...), otherwise it's normally a sigh of relief more than anything
