Xbox Live Marketplace / Arcade questions

I finally got online with my 360 last night (the Bioshock demo was calling).

Couple of questions;

1. Can I download demos and additional content with a silver account?

2. How can I add credit to buy XBLA games?

3. Can I carry anything over from all my achievements prior to going online, and do they yield anything now I am online?

1. Yes
2. Through marketplace with a credit card or from shops/online you can buy 2100 points for £17.50 !
3. Your achievements should all register online against your account - you don't get anything for it though.

Thanks David, I'll take a look when on my home PC (it's blocked at work).

For now though I have some credit with Game and what better things to spend it on than SOTN, Geometry Wars, and SOTN. Can't wait

Can you play arcade games on a xbox live silver account as i was looking to buy doom and bankshot billards game ?

You can buy them and play them, but not against other real people ... you need Gold for that.
