Just gave this a go and it is "surprisingly good"You start off with the in a plane and are forced to parachute down into an enemy zone. The controls for the parachuting are pretty simple (left stick to steer and A to flare chute) although I couldn't get a good landing (always got the botched landing). Once landed the mission is to take out four German gun turrets by placing charges on them. I played on normal and took a hefty beating first as I tried to run and gun, but after a while I started to cover and shoot which seemed to work. Graphically it is good but not great, they basically do the job well. Its no Hour of Victory which is always a good thing eh
My gripe is with the control setup
you have to reload using A which totally put me off as I kept pressing X as that is the usual reload button for FPS games. If that wasn't enough when I kept pressing X which I thought was reload I would crouch, which usually in FPS games is done my clicking in the left analog stick. Grenades can be equipped by pressing the RB to cycle through them and RT to throw them, which again is a little unorthadox but not as annoying at the other two control choices. What I did like though was when you went into aim mode, using the left analog you could stay in cover and peak round corners to shoot, a nice little touch. There were also a few slow mo moments when I got two marksman medals, bit odd but looked nice. Lastly the AI was a mix bag, sometimes the enemies would cover and shoot well, sometimes they would just stand there shooting in the open being pumped by bullets. To sum up, it was better than I thought but does nothing significantly different to COD2/3 or even the previous MOH games apart from the parachuting stuff really.....but hey that isn't a bad thing

I found this surprisingly good too, as I was really expecting it to be pretty awful. I like they way you can explore the scenery a little to take on each objective from different paths, and I like the way it controls too, particularly the way leaning it tied to the ironsights trigger.
By the way, for those finding the button config unusual, select controller config 2 from the options page, as that has a more standard layout.
Graphically it's a mixed bag, with pretty weak environments but really nice character animation. It has some of the best ragdoll I've seen too, with the enemies falling pretty realistically. (as opposed to the usual limbs flapping wildly)

Yep seems pretty good, they've done a good job with the drop at the beginning even though it was pretty difficult to control (I found some 'skill drop' locations, like jumping through a window, can't imagine that is easy!). Once on the ground I didn't think it was as polished as CoD2, but the more open approach has many benefits too.
Controls worked really well I thought (go for config 2 as suggested above!) and the bonuses also worked nicely.
I think I'll be buying this one too! Good job EA!

I really wish Epic would optomise the UE3 enough to allow devs to use anti-aliasing. There's little excuse with the 360 architecture to ship games with jaggies and this new medal of honor suffers particularly badly due to the strong rim lighting in places. Damn shame so many devs are reliant on it and Epic are failing to deliver.

Quite enjoyed this. I think I found a bug though in that at one point I couldn't select my gun, only flip between grenades. Gave me a chance to check out the melee though, which was quite good! Definately some of the best melee I've seen in an FPS. Then for some reason, after a while, it started to let me select my gun again. Odd
