Anyone have it yet? More importantly does anyone have it and has actually played it? Does it support English voices as I've been led to believe? Also does it support single cart multiplayer or does everyone need the game?

Like the look of it but I haven't ordered as it is only multiplayer (2-3 player).. say's here that it is download play only also.
Going by the demo video the commands are just going to be Japanese, although words like 'punch' and 'kick' are the same as English (apart from pronunciation). There's no reason that English voices wouldn't be recognised as long as you pronounce the words correctly - although for special actions, etc you're gonna need to be able to read Japanese or find out the commands and proper pronunciation for the Japanese words used.. and also teach them to your friends when you want to play it!
btw - the subtitle is Sakebu Rain

Even if you know the word commands theres parts that you have to be able to read japanese as it brings up a screen with a timer & you have to read aloud what it says before the timer runs out.
Only one person needs the game as the other people, like the link above says just use download play, however it cant be played in single player as its only for 2 or more people.Last edited by importaku; 15-09-2007, 15:53.

Don't have enough points to get this properly, but it seems to be going fairly cheap on eBay so similarly I might look to pick this up for completion's sake (G&W Collection + Tingle's Balloon Fight are still sealed on my shelf). Any idea if the reading is kanji-based, or is it Hiragana / Katakana? If it's not too kanji-heavy it might actually be a fun little practice exercise...

My copy arrived today - just had a VERY quick go on the practise bit, so apologies, this will not be an in depth first play thread, just to answer a few queries.
It is download play - if you don't have another DS in the vicinity it doesn't let you get any further than the start up screen, from which you can choose rankings or download play.
So far everything has been in kana, including crucially the commands you have to shout into the mic. I've only practised the first few so far - things may change.
You control your character with a mixture of button pushes and voice commands. Pressing a button (IIRC "B") punches, but if you press it and shout "HAA!" your character does a punch and a kick.
More later.

Anyone played a lot of this yet?
What are the three option on the main screen? I want to know what the middle one is mainly as I've gathered that the bottom one is a tutorial and the top one is to do with connection. I seem to have to go through a tutorial again when selecting the middle option, and I don't really get why.Last edited by J0e Musashi; 19-10-2007, 09:33.Kept you waiting, huh?

Nobody else at work has the front to shout out any of the phrases, so I have 3 DS's set up here on my desk, and I take turns to say each phrase. Obviously I cannot beat the boss as I only have one mouth. I'll teach the boy how to say it next weekend. I'll tell him he cannot play Mecha MG until he is fluent. Lol.Kept you waiting, huh?
