VC Games - 5/10/07 (EU) - First Neo Geo game!

I'm tempted to buy Fatal Fury to just see how well it's been handled by the Wii. I'm not a big 2D fighter fan.

It's a shame they have charged more for the game. I suppose the NeoGeo is seen as more of a collectors console though which partly explains it.

The higher price might be down to the fact that the Neo Geo games aren't being emulated on the Wii - they have been ported instead (according to insertcredit.com).

Forgive the n00b-ish question,

But are the Neo-Geo games on the Wii actual SNK ports (AES/MVS, etc.), or are they conversions (like the 16-bit console versions handled by Takara)?

They are conversions to run on the Wii hardware natively without the use of an emulator.
