This is making me think this announcement is more and more likely to be related to recent IP for Capcom, perhaps with the sequels coming to both platforms. Although that still doesn't explain the SF connotations...

Dammit, announcements of announcements are so annoying. I hate speculation.

It is actually multiple IPs. Five weeks ago Australian website hyped how Capcom would be soon showing multiple IPs of its beloved franchises. Everybody thought that this would happen at TGS, and when it didn't, site was blamed for generating false news. However, Svensson did confirm that Capcom had some secret MegaTon stuff that they were keeping for their own event. I believe that most major sites know about these titles already, but everybody is NDA'd.

The alpha games i wouldnt moan at but ive paid enough times & formats of the old style sf2/turbo/super etc. Buying it one last time on xbox live reminds me its not dated well and how rubbish I am at it now.

SFZ4 might be nice. I can't see how the series could be furthered though myself. SFZ4 and Rival Schools 3 are the only feasible ones. Capcom don't hold the Marvel license anymore, and Arika own half the charas out of SF EX.
