Gamecube PAL game save files convert to NTSC

I know some people think the Gamecube is dead but I'm posting this as I think it's still great, and by the time I finish all the games, the Wii should be nice and cheap.

This site looks interesting for any PAL Gamecube users thinking of moving to NTSC games instead for the progressive scan-ness.

Cheers for this! Just what i've been looking for, had a PAL Cube but USA Wii so re-picking up games on NTSC.

Edit - on 2nd note I don't have half of the stuff this person does and it looks too complicated for me

I've done it myself, if you've got any questions I could help. It's not so difficult if you're slow and methodical.

Thanks for this. Shame I deleted most of my save files...

Well, there is a hardware list on the page, which is clear enough. Looks like you need a BBA, SD Gecko (with card) and an Action Replay.

From the game list on the page, looks like SSBM and WW will work, VJ won't, don't know about the others.

A usb gc memory card is enough theres a single program that converts save files between regions.

gamefaqs has lots of saves in the .gci format for all the games you listed.

Some files however have changed too much between regions to just easily convert them & require a lot of hex editing to get them to work. Sadly there still some saves i would have loved to get after i lost them but i no longer have the time to get them back properly (sonic adventure 2 im looking at you)
