      Guitar Hero, Waverace and 1080.

      and Skate

And when it was out in the arcades at first I'd have given a nut to tank a nascar about like in Daytona.

          Custer's Revenge.

I'd also love to be able to bound about the place like in Prince Of Persia, or wave a big sword about like in Devil May Cry.
RPGs always involve too much walking and repressed memories.
Shooters would be too stressful, being one hit away from death all the time. Actually, being in Starfox would be alright.
If SSX was a realistic representation of snowboarding, I'd be up for that.
          Good lord, geekiest post ever!

            Ico was another one...

There would have been a lot more "If you wanna stay and mess around with the feckin pigeons...that's fine but I'm leaving now and I don't care if you're with me!!!" type of thing going on with me though.

I seem to remember wanting to be Parappa a couple of times too.

And I could never understand why Burnout was never a real sport whenever I saw F1 on TV. There should be cars on the track driven by pensioners and going in the opposite direction, there's no reason for it not to be that way!!!

Can I ask how old are you? I only ask because if you want to learn even the basics then if you're past 20 yrs old you've had it mate. Ollieing & Nollieing are hard enough even when u start as a nipper like I did, but moving on to 180's, shove its, kickflips & the various grinds will take yrs to learn let alone perfect. I know everyone is different & some people learn faster than others or are naturals (unlike me), but u need to get it down when your brain is still absorbing everything around it. Plus it helps if your health is good & you're not overweight.

Sorry for the negatives but I'm just being realistic u know mate. Most people try it for like 6 months but just dont really find that theyre going anywhere so they quit, normally to take up Rollerblades. Mind you, you've probably saved yourself a lot of hassle in the long run because I've skated since I was about 11 & I'm now 31 & still skate all the time but the injuries & damage I've caused to my body have left me with both ankles as stiff as hell due to constant ligament tears, my wrists hurt in the winter from the falling, my right knee is f**ked from the impact of throwing myself down huge sets of stairs/ drops & also due to the fact that I've bent it the wrong way twice in the last 2 yrs (theres an extra bit of bone growing on the top of my shin bone near the knee now which pokes out). If you do give it a try just dont expect a lot u know.
If u want any info on what to get when u start or where to get it from, or even tips just PM me okay mate.

Anyway back on topic: I always wanted to live in Vice City because it looked so beautifull!

Playing PGR4 really makes me want to trade my car in for a Vauxhall VX220 (trying to keep off Autotrader!)

When playing through Prince of Persia it felt very boring walking down the high street, I wanted to be vaulting through the roof tops instead.

Crackdown: I really want to be like an Agent and have a Supercar (with the guns, of course!)

Guitar Hero: Flawlessly play Free Bird.

Racing games: Drive about on nice roads in a nice car, without having to worry about getting hurt, breaking the law, or having to take driving lessons!

Anyone else tempted to take up a real life version of a game?

Perhaps push a large sticky ball around until you've collected a whole town. Or shot a bunch of helldemons with a BFG.
Tony Hawks 2 made me want to start skateboarding. After about a week trying to learn to ollie, I just settled on just rolling around instead.
