Can anyone confirm whether or not store credit can be spent throughout all Blockbuster stores, or the just the original store where you aquired it?

I ask because my local Blockbuster shed doesn't have the Orange Box in yet. I asked if they had any in the back or were expecting them in, and they thought I was after an Orange Xbox 360. Hm.

Anyway I thought I'd try the joint Blockbuster/Gamestation in town, if it's possible.

If you ask them in store they can do a search on their computers to see if any stores near have them in stock, a lady did this for me for forza 2 awhile back. Might aswell ask if they allow you to use store credit elsewhere. Just give them a ring. Saves going all over the place.

One of the stores i went to say No you can only use blockbuster credit in the store your card and credit is based.
Wanted the same thing with orange box, fed up waiting so had to just goto game in the end.

You can't even use your membership card in another store as, strangely, they don't have a linked database and everything is done on a store-by-store basis. They will order stuff in if you ask for it though and it usually arrives within a day or two.

Try asking for Half Life 2 instead - when I pre-ordered mine the girl at the till had no idea what I was on about so I asked her to search for Half Life 2 and it came up

I've used mine in multiple stores with no problems, and they were all over an hour and a halfs drive away :S

I've had to re-register my card at my new local shop every time I've moved in the last eight years! Maybe that's only out here in the provinces...

First time I went to use to my BB card in a different store I had to take ID, that's not needed on future visits. If it helps stop fraud it's not big pain.

The account can be used in any store but you will need your card and ID. Credit cannot be sent to the other stores but you can ask for gift vouchers.
