Stand out fantastic moments in rubbish games!

Inspired by the other thread I thought this may be a giggle.

So what are the stand out moments of genius you have found whilst playing through a rubbish game?

I'll kick off with the boss on the third level of Bullet Witch. The game is terrible except for this boss.

You are standing on the top of a jumbo jet as it flies through the clouds. You have to defeat some kind of skeletal devil dragon that fires eyeballs at you.

The boss itself isn't amazing but the spectacle of the thing is great. It came as a bit of a surprise in the middle of such a craptacular game.

I've been lucky enough to avoid the stinkers, but here's a couple.

      1. The incidental animations of the Tingle RPG mad me chuckle. A rancid game though, and don't let anyone tell you different.

      2. The opening scene of Fahrenheit was amazing, but the rest of the game felt like one huge guff in the face.

The end of Stubbs The Zombie. Not that anything in particular happens it's just fantastic that the tugid pile of crap is finally over.

The salt mines for you, laddie.

Not really a moment, more like a series of moments. For all intents and purposes, TMNT is gash, but I really enjoyed the quiet, hassle-free rooftop jumping sections in that game. It was relatively challengeless and the graphics were quite bland, but it was the polar opposite to some of the teeth-gnashingly frustrating bits of other platform games. No tedious pathfinding, just a neat and enjoyable atmosphere. It was mega calming and relaxing, shame about the combat and bosses.

God of War was mostly garbage. Shaking and breaking vases during the opening section was truely a journey of fantastic sex. But then the gameplay and everything with it fell through the floor.

              WHAT????

Anyway I think Bullet Witch was pretty much a Crap game, but finally getting to use the meteor spell for the first time near the end pretty much made playing though the game worthwhile, was a pretty fantastic moment IMO.

It's relaly hard to think of many for this as if a games rubbish I rarely stick with it long enough to find out if it has a good bit.

NEVER start a thread that gives people legitimate reasons to dislike critically acclaimed games! It'll be the forum apocalypse!

Minority Report - utter gash of a game, but you can pick up and throw people through windows etc. Utterly fantastic.

Indeed, slinging them out of a window after you have smacked their rag doll corpse into a table and a light fitting was sublime. The icing on the cake was the scream they made as they fell.

I thought the style of the inbetweeney cutscenes in Eragon were pretty cool.

Remembered another one, the completely insane and utterly hilairious climax and ending sequence to The Matrix Path of Neo
