I call bull**** on that one, if that was really the case I'd probably be one of the best Beatmania players in the world given the amount of time I've spent on it, there's was a time when I'd play for 3 or 4 hours almost every night for a number months and yet I'm average at best. Some people are just naturally gifted which takes them to a level beyond anyone else.

I suppose it's possible! It wouldn't be the first time that people have cheated with stuff like this. Anybody know if it's possible on the PC version?

I suspected Mario to be the fake in any was going to be as the internet is full of videos like that.

None of the videos seem to display for me (either in Internet Explorer or Firefox), just an empty area on each page where the video content should appear. Shame.

Yeah I realized that, and sorry if what I said sounded aggressive.

              Time? Definately.

Motivation is a bit more difficult, as theres not anything out at the moment that I'd want to spend that much time on. But in theory, yeah.

Well that's kind of the point isn't it. You simply can't deny someone's skills by citing "i could be that good if i had the time and motivation" for everything.

Major skills on display there. Particlary like the ikaruga one, excellent.

Maybe it's an ISP thing, I'll have a look later and see.

It strange that despite reading about it so many times, its the first time I've seen that Street Fighter vid. Bloody impressive it is too.

For me though, the most impressive video on the list is the Ikaruga one - probably because I've spent so much time on the game and, despite all the practice I've had at it, could never hope to be that good with one ship, let alone two.

                      You didn't, don't worry!

If people find other videos like these, post them here and we'll get our own list running in the first post. I'm sure we could do better than Games Radar!

If you do post one, make sure it says what the game is and stuff like that instead of just having a blank link.

The best Hugo player in the world, Hayao, shows how to land gigas with style. A hell of a lot harder to do than Daigo's full parry. To be more precise, he lands the gigas (Super Art I, *quarter circle forward X 2 + spinning the stick 720 degrees*) between those two seven kick attacks that Chun-Li does in her Super Art II. Just landing the gigas standing is something I can't do in a million years. Not to mention doing that while parrying the hardest attack in the game.

The most disapointing way to die? The last boss of Ketsui, Doom, almost beaten without using a single life or bomb.

Who needs a portal? Super Monkey Ball madness.

And what comes to those VTF-INO's double-play vids, the Chapter 3 vid is more awesome, ecpesially if you happen to have knowledge of the game. This guy is probably the most talented shmup player in the world with SWY-Yusemi who one-credit-cleared the ultra mode of Mushihimesama Futari, a game with the baddest effing last boss ever. The 1CC run can be seen on the Cave's superplay DVD.

Some people have better reaction times than other people. It's related to whether you have the Toxoplasma Gondii parasite in your brain (50% of people do). It dampens fear and reaction time. This is why I can't do any of the above stuff obviously

I'll remember that for when I'm getting thrashed by somebody in a game next time "Well you may well be beating me 11-0 at Pro Evo you two year old girl...but at least I don't have a Toxoplasma Gondii parasite on my brain".

Apparently it's quite common in cats for some reason?

If anybody finds videos of cats playing Ikaruga with two ships, that's something I'd love to see!!!
