Tekken Dark Ressurection Online Sucks!!!

Hi Guys and Gals,

I purchased Tekken from he uk store and cannot seem to play an online game at all!

When ever I go to online and search for a room, I get logged in but then get logged out straight away.

Can anyone shed some knowledge? Or is this game a turkey?

I have checked my connection and its fine to the net.

what NAT type did it report?

Hi there, my NAT type is 2. I have it connected to my linksys wrt54g router via a wired connection.

I initially did an automatic setup with the ps3, but it gave nat type 3, however after a bit of research i did a setup manually an assigned an ip myself according to the class being used, ie 192.168.1.103.

I also specified that UPNP was being used.

Am i doing something wrong?

Can anyone proivde some help on this matter please? I am wondering if I am doing something wrong??? I am playing on a US 60gb model. Any help???

It's probably the game mate.

I had this with a game once and I messed about with my router options like you and was nearly tearing my hair out but it turned out to be that the game wasn't fixed for online.

Is your PS3 in your DMZ list?
I had loads of connection problems with GT5 before I added the consoles IP.

Go to Portforward and forward all the ports it has listed in Playstation network, no point sticking it in the DMZ where it will get ping'd to death.
