    Chu Chu Rocket

Apart from Phantasy Star Online, the only game i have enjoyed playing online was Chu Chu Rocket. It is still also one of the best and most frantic multiplayer games on any format IMO.

I was just wanting to know, if anybody had heard any information, about the game getting a release on Wii Ware, Xbox Live Marketplace, or as a full retail release for any formats?

A few months back (about the time of E3) i seam to remember somebody posted a huge list of Sega games, that were rumoured to be in development and i seam to remember Chu Chu Rocket being on that list. At the time i assumed at the time the list was fake, but the other game i wanted on the list Samba De Amigo has been confirmed as an actual Wii game in development.

Just rather hoping that we see a version out in the coming year. I think it would suit the Wii Controls very nicely as a cheap Wii Ware game. I would not mind forking out about ?10 for a game with a few puzzles and a decent online game, even if it is just the GBA or DC version again with the odd addition.

There is no game - NONE - that needs to hit XBL and PSN more than this.

As much as I am turned off by the 360 - if CCR was released on it, and only it, I would pick up a 360 in a heartbeat. Nary a second thought. I miss this game and playing it online so very badly.

I've only played the GBA version of this but loved it so much. I REALLY need this on my wii or DS.

This. I can't believe it hasn't already been done. It couldn't possibly be a more perfect fit for the XBLA.

If I were a religious man I'd probably pray for it's release every night.

I think it would work better on Wii Ware TBH. It's a much better fit for the machine and god knows it needs some decent online games right now.

I agree it's more fitting for Wii Ware, and I fear it might get overlooked/unappreciated on XBLA/PSN.

I don't think any online game will ever be better on Wii until they get rid of those stupid friend codes.

Wii controls wouldn't work IMO and Wii ware hasn't even been announced if it will have online capabilities.

This title would work much better on XBLA. Theres enough fans out there that would buy it and with XBL it would be very easy to set up online games (unlike Wii)

I think there's very good odds SEGA West will kick some sence into Sonic Team and this will up on LIVE

the controls would be best on Wii, click on the square and use the analogue stick to place the arrow in whatever direction you want, simple.

I've bought about 5 copies of this game just to get replacement DC game cases.

It's a great game. I never did play it online on the DC, but multiplayer with mates around was fantastic. A Live or PSN version would be lovely.

yes this is what I had in mind i just don't think it would be well suited to the crazy/hectic nature of chu chu rocket due to the controls being too sensetive usually.

I would have thought that a good effective control system, would be an advantage. Even if you used the analogue stick on the nunchuck to move and the D pad on the wii mote to lay the arrows, i would still find it effective.

Sega are mad not to release this as a downloadable game, surely it would cost them little to get it up and running, even if it was an online/multiplayer only game to get the size down further.
