    Game of the Year 2007 - Closing soon - please post

    Hi All.

    Please nominate your favourite game for last year.
    ALSO PLEASE ADD A COUPLE OF HONOURABLE MENTIONS IF YOU WANT.

    If you can't remember back to the beginning of the year, have a look through our reviews - they tell you when the games were reviewed. You can also select to see only 9/10 or 8/10 games etc.

    This thread is for everyone! All readers, blueroom users and staff.

    And to pre-empt any questions, treat orange box as 1 game (I thought long and hard about this and finally decided that you can't buy the games within separately).

      A fully realized cinematic SP experience.

      Add to that the MP and you have what must be one of the most perfect games I ever bought.

      Honourable -

      Halo 3. TBH I thought this was GOTY then COD4 just raised the bar in every way.
      Orange Box as a package is incredible value for money, with a truely innovative game thrown in this is gaming crack.

      I haven't played Galaxy yet (will do on Sat after my Wii is chipped). From the comments and passion from others I don't have a problem with this being the runaway winner of GOTY.

                Also:

                Metroid Prime 3 for showing us how a game should be controlled, also for it's fantastic art direction.

                Lost Planet for delivering old school action and kick-starting 2007 and also featuring IMO the first Halo 2 beater when it came to online fun.

                Halo 3 for online presence.

                          2nd/3rd/4th: Halo3, OrangeBox, Crackdown.

                          Only played a third of COD4 and 8 stars of Galaxy, neither have grabbed me yet.
