Rate your Virtual Console games Thread

It will help people in their choices i think so i'll start, only have a couple at the moment mind but we can update our posts as we get more.
Oh and you can adjust your scores whenever you like too as we all change our minds on our games eh.

WaveRace 64 - 9/10 - its all about the water people, tricks are great too.
    BaseBall Stars 2 - 8/10 - such simplistic fun
PacMan - 6/10 - wish it was the Atari version but still good especially with 2 players

Wave Race 64: It's still a brilliant experience. Everything about the game is a joy: from the colourful bright visuals, to the amazing wave effects. Nintendo have made sure it runs really smoothly, with everything being clear too.
    10/10
( My favourite game ever )

F-Zero(snes): An easy to play, addictive game, that still looks nice( in a very abstract way) ... The different stages have a lot of character, the music is infectious, and it's a must-have imo.
    9/10
( Loses a point for not having multiplayer, or enough stages)

Note: I have the NTSC versions. I'm not sure if the Pal versions are as great?

          Mario 64 - 10/10
Sin & Punishment - 9/10 (for the reccord, this game shames other shooters to an embarrasing degree, still)
          Yoshies story - 7/10
          Pokemon Snap - 7/10
          Mario Bros 3 - 10/10
          Paper Mario - 7-10

Nintendo games are just so timeless, even now mario bros 3 puts big budget games made today to shame, and then some.

This is a fantastic idea. It's really going to help me decide which ones to go for. It's not as easy as XBLA where you can download trials and decide for yourself. Plus the fact I missed out on a lot of Nintendo's consoles, especially the older stuff. I was more of a Sega boy back in the day hehe.

            Anyway,

I only own 3 games on the VC at the mo. (NTSC Wii BTW)

Mario Kart 64 - 9/10 - Still plays great especially with the Cube/Classic pads.

Super Metroid - 9/10 - I'm not a fan of the recent Prime games so this one suprised me. It's much better in 2D

Gradius 3 - 9/10 - Stands the test of time. Great little shooter and is also very fun in 2 player.

I'm looking to add a lot more in the future so I look forward to reading more impressions/ratings on what you guys have downloaded. ^_^

The two VC games that I've downloaded so far:

Starfox 64/Lylat Wars (N64) - As brilliant now as it was back in 1997. It could EASILY be a Hollywood blockbuster with its plethora of fast-paced action set-pieces and top-class dialogue. And that's not even mentioning the all-conquering multiplayer battle mode, multiple routes/endings and high-score challenges. One of the all-time great shoot-em-ups, without question. 9/10

The King Of Fighters '94 (Neo-Geo) - Original and refreshingly unique back in the day (when countless SFII updates/clones were the norm, lest we forget), but has aged badly in terms of both looks and gameplay. You could argue that it is only guilty of being shown up by natural progression in the fact that every KOF game since has bettered it, obviously. 5/10
