Would like to know what they thought of Turok. Seems like quite a high score based on the demo.

I quite liked The Thing on the ps2, it had a great atmosphere. For some reason though I found it mega-tough.

What has this done to merit a 7? Not complaining, just surprised - it must be the first Koei DW game in a long time to do anything new.

I bought Turok, traded it in next day. Why does he look like hes going to bloody cry? its those stupid looking eyes of his. The weapons are a huge stepback from the original Turok games and thats saying alot considering they are complete arse. I was hoping for a decent change, but all i got was a bunch of arse raping dinosaurs trying to mount me.

I loved The Thing aswell, i thought it was a fantastic game. I don't know if its still as good as it was back then though. I thought i was the only person that liked it as im a huge fan of the film so i might have been a bit bias towards it.

I'm a huge fan of the film and still loathed The Thing. Appallingly bad. Lazy, ugly, clumsy, unengaging game I desperately wanted to like and simply couldn't. The final nail in the coffin was the realisation it's pointless speculating which of your men are infected when they all automatically turn/die when you get past a certain point in the level anyway.

i usually agree with edge scores but i think 7 for Pixeljunk monsters is a little bit tight, especially considering its only £3.49.

i can't help feel score should always be a combination of quality with an element of value lobbed in as well.

I thought The Thing was a great game , just too bloody hard .

Also EDGE feature onthe 360 was weak and pretty piss poor . We all know its having a hard time in Japan and Europe but the way EDGE goes on its like it dead on its feet. You'll never see a similar feature from EDGE on SONY or NCL .

I thought the scores were pretty much bang on though

Yeah, the 360 article in Edge was a poor read. Back on the Sony payroll I wonder, especially going by the way they were jazzing themselves silly over Little Big Planet.

yeah very tight score for pixlejunk monsters its eaten up so much of my time that the 3.49 i paid for it seems like a very silly price indeed the review text is very positive too totally agree that price and value for money should be a factor when reviewing.

nice thick paper this issue too bit rough feeling but its better than the ultra glossy lightweight crap they normally use, perfect for the edge haters as they can use this issue as bogroll if they dont like it .

Why are they reviewing New Blood? I thought PAL land didn't have a release date yet, but it's a bit late to be doing the US version since it came out in November or something.

Anyone have any info on it?
