OK, like many i've always said the PS3 would be a future purchase and it will. I'd buy one but not at ?300.

So, think we'll see a ?200 PS3 this year? I hope so.

So they might drop the price to something like 279 end of this year, but 200 is a bit optimistic.

The machine won't drop, they'll just keep fobbing us off with new models with larger HDDs and keep the machine the same price, then just as you think they can't get them any bigger, they'll add Backwards compatibility in again.
