    Bleach Games

With the UK getting its first taste ever are the games worth it ?

Bleach: Shattered Blade and Bleach: The Blade of Fate are both out friday on Wii and DS , The Treasure logo would normally ensure a purchace for me but im not sure about this and less so for the Wii version.
Anyone played any of them on any format ? how is the series on console?

The DS and PSP games are pretty meh fighters. Guess it depends how much you like Bleach but i found them pretty boring overall.

Bleach The Blade of Fate has already a sequel in Japan: Bleach DS 2nd.

And this 2nd game is very good and better than the first one: more characters, more levels, better character balance.
The only disadvantage is the fact that the japan players see a stranger online, they ally and fight against him only and after the stranger defeated, they do .... nothing. O_O

It happened to me on Jump Ultimate Stars too and to a mate on the same games too.

Bleach DS 2nd is the only Bleach game I've played.

Not sure on the Wii/DS ones as I've only played the PSP ones. Avoid those. Great graphics, but so short.

The PSP ones were devved by 8ing who did the Bloody Roar games and the Naruto Games on the cube, I imagine they along the same lines as those.

Not watched much of the series but the games had a good rep I thought 1up gave both titles an A/9 and Edge gave it a 7 on DS

I have the first game on the DS. Its a fantastic fighter, incredibly deep and easy to play. Its also the best fighting game on the handheld, shame they didn't port a version to the ps2 or something. Apparently the us/pal versions have some tweaks done to balance the game as the japanese version had some balancing issues.

Basically the only game i can compare the blade of fate to, is Guilty Gear. It really is fast paced, combo driven. Seriously check it out.

I have the wii game and both the Japanese DS games, the wii game isn't that great...it's pretty much just waving around the wiimote like crazy. I wouldn't really recommend it, it gets boring pretty fast.

I completely agree with kusogaki about the Wii version. It's one of the VERY few games I wish I hadn't bought.
