    Your advice please gang

At work we are currently working on a brief for Lol, "a-firm-that-I-cannot-disclose" for which we need to come up with some competition prize options for gamers.

If you could win the ultimate prize in gaming, what would it be? The chance to be a character in a game? A voiceover for a character? Or maybe just a massive TV?

    Any ideas welcome.

1 hour alone with Jade Raymond.

Seriously though, a character in a game would be pretty cool. In terms of a physical prize, a kick ass cinema/gaming set up would be my choice though

I'm guessing that most gamers would already have consoles, so no point in having them as prizes.

But everyone always needs games. Perhaps a "20 games / 10 accessories / Whole bunch of Live/PSN/Wii Points" prize would be really cool.

A one off quick cameo as an enemy running across in a naked rampage. The gamer gets to shoot you (if they can) for uber pointage. Maybe just an enemy roll then, but with a memorable death cry that would be shown allover YouTube because it ressembled a baby ape being born and dying at the same time. Actuall

        Mmmwaaaahhheeeuurggghh.

Read that as Jade Goody at first.
Chance to be or voice a character doesn't really grab me. A great gaming set-up or a huge bundle of games would be better. A PS3 and a 360 with 3 extra controllers and 50 games for each would have me creaming myself more than a character called Tarquin in a future RPG.

Or perhaps an expenses-paid shopping trip to Akihabara.

How about something different like a trip to MS/Sony/Nintendo/a Developer in the USA or JPN - the sort of thing you can't normally buy with hard cash.

I've requested more info to help you with your choices. Holliss' one is great, but I'm not sure if they'll stretch that far.

                  Home Entertainment Makeover

Think 'Pimp My Living Room'. Get a decent company in to look at, plan and then implement a kick-ass games/entertainment setup in the winner's home.

A cameo in a game is all well and good, but you can bet half the games-playing population is thinking 'What a twat' and the other half aren't playing the game because it's utter bobbins.

A dedicated arcade cab. Might be a bit costly though.

Personal - Arcade cab or tv/audio set up.

In game - Posters or billboards with NTSC-UK and the winners ugly mush and username.
