Wii Fit Error Message

Hi guys, can you please help me with this error message?

if I try to click on any exercise, I get this message and I can't get any further.
What is the meaining of this message and how can I get to the exercises?

PS: I'm using the JAP version purchased quite time ago with the Freeloader on my euro PAL Wii

Don't know because I don't have it...

But should one of those lights be lit up to say the board/wiimote is synced?

It's telling you to remove the controller connected to the Wii Remote.
