Donwloaded the single player demo and have enjoyed it very much - the cell shading, comic book feel works better than i'd expected (another game added to the list)

    Check it out

Yeah, I downloaded it the other day and enjoyed the end product a lot more than I expected. In screenshots it tends to look bland and sterile, but when moving the graphics really do make you feel as though you're playing through a comic book, particularly the cheesily dramatic music that kicks in when you knock an enemy out via bottle or chair.

The whole thing just feels very slick; the visual sound effects of enemies moving around, the panels which pop up to show you important events occuring in the game world then synch away when their message is delivered, plus the realistic damage which makes gun-battles very tense indeed ( particularly close quarters in the military base ).

Plus I just had a great big smile on my face first time I used the grappling hook, it was far more enjoyable than it had a right to be.

H-Man, were there just the two levels on your version, beach and military base? As I heard some guy who reviewed the demo waffling on about there only being 'four levels', so wondered if an alternate, larger demo was also out there.

I wouldn't mind playing some more, 'tis why I ask.

I don't think I'll bother trying this one on my PC but I've seen it running on my brother's and I can't wait for the release of this one on GameCube

The demo I have only has 2 levels Garibaldi - don't think there's a larger one.

Having trouble deciding what format to get this game on. It would look lovely on a big TV, but online pc play could be fantastic ....... what a toughy

Thank you very much for the heads up, i downloaded the demo instantly and was kinda worried about it running on my PC.

Anyway, it ran fine and i was totally amazed by the style of the game, it's very refreshing.

I think this has high potential to be near enough Goldeneye standards (I still believe GE hasn't been beaten yet).

Completed both levels, military base being awesome. Dropping down with the grappling hook, swinging... and firing the rifle at the poor bloke down the bottom of the shaft... it sent an instant smile to my face.

I think the Xbox version for me, because it's on the TV and it has Xbox Live enabled. woop

It's a good game, but those little box-outs soon become annoying. When you've got multiple enemies on screen and those boxes pop-up obscuring them, you sure lose a lot of health and it's not like you can just dismiss them with a key.

Other than that, it's quite nice. The grappling hook bit was class.

I liked it, but it needs some tweeks. Grabbing keys, equiping them, using them on the door then switching back to the weapon was a bit awkward, especially when there's guys outside the door wanting your blood. I don't even think there was a 'last weapon' option, just previous and next weapon

Some of the comic book effects were ok too, but can see them getting old rather quick.
