    Condemned 2 demo audio issues

I just played through the demo on the US PSN Store and I am having lots of audio drops outs in the game. I am connected via optical out to my 5.1 amp, and the sound keeps cutting out all of the time. The amp keepsbringing up the signal it is receiveing so its like the game suddenly stops sending the signal. every other game, dvd, and blu-ray are fine. Anyone else got this issue? Thanks

No problems here and the audio was fine when I played it. All I can suggest is check all your connections again. I had the same problem with Guitar Hero recently. The sound would cut out every few minutes for about 1-2 seconds at a time. I traced the problem back to being a loose optical cable (I'd recently unplugged it to move my Xbox and didn't put it back in properly )

Everything else is fine. Looking on GAF, it appears quite a few people are experiencing this bug on the PS3 demo. Hopefully it was fixed before the game mastered because its really rather annoying..

My biggest issue with the demo sound is that the game seems to think that my speakers are incorrected connected (which they are not). I have sound effects from Ethan's fists coming through the rear speakers with enemies that attack from behind coming through the front ones.

The full version (360) has a slight problem with the audio too.

It's only slight and in certain points of the game, but the audio drops out for a fraction of a second.

Like I say, very slight but it is noticeable (particularly as I'm playing with headphones on).

Glad it's not just me - I've noticed similar issues with the full game. It's a shame because the audio quality is top-notch, just like it was in the original, but when things are very close to Ethan it seems to get a bit confused as to where the sound should be coming from.

Played the demo yesterday and was getting the audio dropouts every 10 seconds or so.

Was really putting me off. Hope the 360 version doesn't suffer from it.

Definitely didn't experience anything like that on the 360 version so I'm assuming it's either an issue with the PS3 version or the demo? Like Spatial mentioned, there are a couple of points in the 360 version where the audio stops altogether for a split-second, but it's literally only a couple of times.

I got the audio dropouts in the PS3 demo, but figured it must just be a demo issue, so bought the full game from Tronix, only to discover the problem is even worse in that
