how refreshing is wario ware inc

Basically i have just treated myself to an sp with pokemon & wario ware! i couldnt believe how addictive the latter is. I have just taken this game to a barby and even my fifa friends couldnt put this down ( we even started placing money on who could get the highest score).
It just seems so refreshing that in this day and age of realism and 50 hour games, a wacky game like wario ware can come along and interest me so much more!!
Pick the nose game Nuff said!!

I agree totally, hopefully now they've proven they can still do it Nintendo will take the hint and develop some more new games for the GBA, rather than rehashing old platformers. WW even got my girlfriend hooked and she's very choosy about what she plays.

Got the Jap version of it when it came out and I was blew away by its originality and damn quirkiness. I think it being in Japanese adds an extra layer of to some of the more outlandish games.
Quality title, Nintendos best for years.

It's very good, but it's funny how selective memories are when it comes to praising a game. Despite all the reviews that gush about how innovative and original it is, there are clearly others that inspired it - Bishi Bashi and the Game & Watch Gallery titles being two examples.

I couldn't agree more. I'm not trying to be controversial but I think it's getting a little over hyped. I really enjoyed the game and all but is it THAT original? I think people are confusing a huge amount of character with originality...I suppose it is arguable that a game with so muh character is original in its own right.
