Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (April, Japan)

Just noticed this on the virtual console site:

    悪魔城ドラキュラX 血の輪廻 2008年4月 KONAMI 800

Haven't played this one yet, so looking forward to it.
Finally get to see what all the hype is about.

oh ffs... first I'm "forced" to pay £80 for it on ebay... then £29.99 on PSP... and now they KNOW they're going to get my money for a VC release if it comes to Europe....

This game has made me die a little inside... damn my insatiable lust for CastleVania.

Is this the SNES ver of the PC Engine Super CD? (I have and love both) edit nm... looked at link and found it in PC Engine bit...

Same boat mate - I bought a bloody TurboDuo especially for this, along with the game. Bought the Konamistyle set for the PSP version, and a US version to open and actually play. Yet still, I know soon as this is available I will be lapping it up like no-one's business. Will be interesting to see how big it is, and if anything's missing or downsampled (movies / music).

YEah I bought a PC Engine DUO just for it too, though I always fancied a PC Engine anyway (and nabbed myself 46 games on ebay for £70 delivered last week inc things like Sailor Moon all comp when I realised my Duo needed some love) and at least the game was worth the money, and nice to own the original.

I think they said they'd start releasing CD games soon so hopefully it's that one.

There are already some CD games available, for example Gates and Lords of Thunder, so hopefully this will make it out soon.

Finished this on VC yesterday, it was good but I don't rate it above the SNES version. Having played it I can see the progression to SotN a lot clearer now.
