    Interesting little read there.
    COD4 is a powerhouse!

Also goes to show how much influence the casual gamers are having on the money making side of things , there are Wii and DS games galore, even **** ones I've never heard of outselling the highest charted PS3 games.

High School Musical uncut outsold motorstorm. Weird

High School Musical outsold The Orange Box.
Image Fashion Designer outsold Burnout Paradise (which I was surprised to see at just 71)

Not a great showing for the PS3 exclusive titles either.
        Ratchet and Clank at 81.
        Heavenly Sword at 78.
        Uncharted: Drakes Fortune at 64.
        Motorstorm at 51.

To be honest I wouldn't expect the PS3 exclusives to be up the top 10 or 20 anyway. The fact that they are actually in the top 100 means they did decent business. If anything, as Boris mentioned, that list shows how much of an influence "casual" gamers are having on the sales side of things. I lost count as to how many awful Wii and DS games were in that list.

Did anyone notice that no. 25 (God Of War II) actually comes with a snippet of our very own Big Seany's review from this very site!

These figures are US only, right? I'd imagine there'd be a lot more football and chav racers in the UK version.

Has to be U.S, as rock band was in it

Next-Generation has compiled the top selling 100 games from the last year across North America and Europe, including sales figures.

                        Look at this!!!

Sean Smith (NTSC-uk): “It is among the very best games to have graced the console, indeed it is among the best of this or any other generation. That it isn’t that much different conceptually to its prequel doesn’t matter.”

It also says in the disclaimery bit at the end that they had to use educated guesses because figures for Europe were either unavailable, innacurate or incomplete.

Props to Seany for getting his comment published. Glad to see NTSC-uk isn't completely off-the-radar.

I am also unhappy about the high sales for trashy/licensed games. I would say from my experience this has a lot to do with bundling and the customer service at branches of GAME. A lot of them are cheaper and game-illiterate parents don't know any better.
