Otomedius G (Gorgeous!), coming to X360

Konami confirmed that Otomedius will reach the white console (no, not the Wii, the other one) and the first scan have begun appearing around the net...strange there haven't been any posts about this with the many stg lovers around here.

Pretty weird choice for 360 game, although it seems that the 360 has become the shmup console of this generation, but the arcade of this required a touch screen so that will be interesting. It might have been better suited to the Wii, although the case for a Japanese 360 is getting stronger as there is no chance this will see a western release.

This game is great! Think Parodius but with even more scanterly clad ladies with large jubblies as your ship and you're there.

Then, add a touch screen to use certain attacks and it just gets really weird!

Ho hum, guess I need to get another 360.

Hadn't heard of it before, but from the few videos on youtube it looks like standard Parodius/Gradius fare, but that's hardly a bad thing.

I'm glad stuff like this is landing on the 360. Being an achievement point whore I much prefer to play games like this as opposed to some of the mundane cack that hits the western side.

Any ideas on a release date?

Looks great fun, like the fact it's got an energy bar, Parodius was a bit unforgiving at times. Wonder if they'll include the giant dancing girl...

Sure I saw details of a special edition coming with a stick which had a touch screen bit the other day. Would post more details but where I saw it (insertcredit) is blocked here at work.
