You're supposed to be able to redownload them all and this will sort the problem out.

I tried the re downloading method but it didn't work for me. I think it was discussed here previously.
While I'm here I'm going to get my rant on about this. It's shocking that microsoft have not sorted this out yet, what with the shocking failure rate (I'm on my 4th machine) and the Elites. I'v tried e-mailing them before with no sucess and as for the phoning option......

I know first hand that doesn't work when transferring the physical drive, but does anyone know whether it works if you use a transfer cable?

Using a transfer cable doesn't make a difference as I found out when I upgraded to a 120 GB HDD.

Thought it wouldn't. Bloody daft considering it completely wipes the original drive. Ahh well, doesn't make much difference to me now as my new Elite is going to be permanently hooked up to the net anyway.

What I'm more concerned about is if I'll be able to play the games I've downloaded with my US / korean / etc. gamertag when I transfer my data over to another hard-drive. Will I still be able to use the games even though they were downloaded through my other profiles?

(i.e. if I downloaded Hexic 2 on my Korean gamertag on the one day when it was free to download, will I still be able to play it through my British gamertag after transferring my data from a 20GB to a 120GB drive?)

There is a way to do that. You just need to sign in on a second controller with your Korean account to enable you to play Hexic 2 on your main account (or whatever region and whatever game).

Good find! I thought I'd lost this one since doing the transfer.

Download games are married to the Xbox360 when you first download.
Other Xboxlive gamertag log in with this xbox360 could also play those games.
Second and afterward download again on any machines could only access by the gamertag in online mode, offline mode won't work.

It happens to everyone after replacing the lovely RROD console with MS.

This is the wonderful DRM applied by MS on Xbox360.

I cannot believe this ****! I won't be buying anymore games from XBLA if I can't use them offline.
