Just bought and am really enjoying Brink on PS3, but I can't see me carrying on much longer...No one is playing it online.

It's a shame, as I get the impression this has been killed off not just by the teething problems at launch, but just as much by gamers and the relentless beating this game receives in pretty much any forum or comments thread. Brink is extremely fun and refreshing once you get your head around it, and I'm not noticing any major online problems...It's still kinda fun offline, but yeah, with more player support, this'd easily be my 'go to' online game.

Am also playing Catherine and EDF. Catherine is amazing, and so much more than I thought it would be. The mix of story and puzzles has really got my mind-cogs whirring, and it looks lovely too.

EDF is awesome. We all know this.

Just finished Little King's Story, so I'll probably move to Fragile...when I get back from a work-related trip to Switzerland. I guess in the upcoming week I'll dedicate myself to some mobile gaming and since the 3DS doesn't have many title I'll go back to the old DS.

Resi 5. Not played it through since it launched but I just picked up the Gold Ed cheap on PS3. All those feelings of how it didn't measure up to 4 have gone now and I'm just enjoying it for what it is. Great fun.

Fallout NV - initially I hated it then got to thinking it was ok. Got hit by a glitch where I couldn't level up anymore so went back to hating it. Glitch eventually sorted itself out so I carried on thinking it was ok again. Been playing now the past couple days and have a tonne of quests on the go and have upgraded to loving it!
Forced restarts currently stands at 6 I do believe...

Completed No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise and X-Blades this week. Hope I can find Bullet Witch tomorrow.

Started playing Darksiders this week after the game had sat sealed on my shelf for nearly 2 months. I wanted something big, loud and stupid and this seems to fit the bill so far. Camera is starting to annoy me though

Been in a Metroid mood recently - almost at the end of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and I guess about halfway through Metroid Fusion. I may also play through Other M again when those two are complete before Deus Ex lands at the end of August.

I need to go through M again on Hard mode. That game was needlessly hated on for being different
What you playing the Primes on? I decided to buy the Trilogy on Wii when it was way after release date and ended up searching EVERYWHERE for a copy lol. Then I found 2 next to each other >_>

Been playing on the Trilogy version for the Wii - the pointer controls makes investigating the environment a much quicker experience, and the addition of flicking the remote to jump whilst in morph ball mode makes some of the trickier boss battles less frustrating (boost ball & spider ball guardians spring to mind). I personally rate Echoes as my favourite Metroid - it nails the feeling of a desolate, hostile alien world more than any other game I've played. The boss battles are by far and away the best in the series and the use of the morph ball in combat and puzzles is done far better than other games in the series.

I'm with you on Other M, I thought it was great (despite a few flaws) and probably suffered from not being Super Metroid v2.0 as a lot of people seemed to want. I voted it as my 3rd favourite game of 2010 behind Vanquish and Bayonetta which I think shows that I have no problem with ridiculous stories in videogames! The control and combat was very satisfying, pacing was excellent and the boss battles only bettered by Echoes. My main beef was invisible walls - even the authorizing of abilities didn't bother me as it is no less ridiculous than stumbling upon new abilities in a hidden cave somewhere like you do in nearly every other Metroid.

Ughh Boost Ball guardian was horrible when I played it back on the Cube but I haven't gotten round to Echoes yet on the Wii version (about halfway through original Prime atm) Think I will get back into it soon as I had a go on Other M today to do more of the hard run and got a bit bored tbh. The reason being there are no collectibles to find and for me the exploration of finding these things is a main part of the game...removing them leaves sort of half a game. I don't even believe there is any reward for the hard run either >_>

Seeing you mention Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metroid pretty much confirms we have a very similar taste in games! I was playing Vanquish last week in fact, such a blast compared to a lot of the stale gaming clogging up the systems at the moment. And as for Bayonetta...played through that so many times just playing with combos and having fun.

Not much this week for me. Been flirting with Just Cause 2. Only played it for an hour up till this week, now put in a few more hours just arsing about and causing destruction. I have went from 'meh' to 'WOO HOO!'

Also started Marvel vs Capcom 3 today. I'm pretty **** at it so far and it feels a little OTT for me, even more so than the second game.

                            Halo Reach Solo Legendary run.
Frustrating at times but what a game!
Had planned on starting Dirt 3 this week but having too much fun with this.

Advance Wars 2, simple yet so addictive. Iv completed the normal campaign and now going through it on hard mode. I have only skipped one mission so far and that was the 7 star one on blue moon with the 3 cannons and fog of war. I'm also loving the versus maps and have started creating a few of my own.
