Completed The Baconing yesterday after picking it up in the xbla sale.

A continuation of the Deathspank games (although I haven't played ToV yet) but it drops the eventual looping paths for a more linear world. About the right length, amusing in parts and dat rotating world .

Hirari Sakurazamurai - great little 3DS-DL game.
      TotA
      - trying to get it finished but without rushing it.
Super Mario 3D Land - working through the special worlds.
Kirby's Dream Land - 3D classic and wonderful fun.

Just clocked DE: Invisible War. Game clock was around 13hrs in total, though the last few were pretty much trudgery (bloody glad to get it over with, repetition ahoy!) Decent, but not a patch on the first game, plus it now seems SUPER dated, maybe even a bit 'playskool' in how simple it actually is....plus the storyline is ruh-hubbish, levels are bland as fook and under-designed (bar Cairo, which is decent). To think, when I first fired this up on the Xbox circa 2004, and I was chucking the basketball about at the start, marvelling at the physics and solidity of it all...it just seemed like it was gonna be something really special.

Ah, well, can now go back to Human Revolution without feeling like I've missed anything.

That was the main thing i noticed when i tried replaying it earlier in the year, the locations just seem really basic and unintersting

A couple of long sessions on Infinity Blade II. Now stuck on a stupid level 100 boss - think I've finished off the others. I've died like three or four times on him. I think its because he doesn't have a sword I don't know how to parry properly.

Also played a bit of Zen Pinball on the iPhone. Only had one decent run, with 14million points on the free table.

And played a good few hours of Dark Souls at a friends house. I really want this now. It was really fun, it was good to have someone there to shout out and get tips from. I played up to that stupid Taurus boss and the big dragon afterwards.

You playing RDR on PS3 or 360?

Picked up the PS3 version of the disc based Undead Nightmare. Seems uber light on content as so far it's very horde-esque but its a great reminder at just how brilliant a game RDR is.

                    This week:

Beyond Good and Evil HD: Seems decent enough. I like it's style but I wonder if it will hold my attention till the end. It doesn't have an original gameplay bone in it's body.

Call Of Duty MW3: More online action for about an hour at a time. Even with it's faults it's still the best online FPS on the market for my needs.

Pinball FX 2: Bought loads of cheap tables for it, but so far keep coming back to Blade, Wolverine, and Secrets of the Deep. Have a nice high score competition going on with a friend.

BEEN PLAYING fifa12 and for some reason, the more ive learnt about the game, the worse ive got, which has meant nearly pad throwing moments. I was better when i just ran around like a headless chicken. now I jockey, play one twos etc and im getting beat nearly every game. ho hum. how the heck do you pressure with two of your players.....aarrrgghhh! ive even turned to youtube in my moment of insanity to get some tips. i might just have to quit playing it as its just peeing me off these days.

Had Skyrim sitting on shelf since its release, but Ive been strong in keeping a promise to myself that I leave it until Dark Souls is done.

My goodness, Dark Soul aint going down without one of the most enjoyable fights I've had in a long long time.

70 hours in and I've just used the Lords Vessel and forged exciting weapons of lightening and fire. Skyrim probably wont go on until sometime next year.

Definately my game of the year.

Resident Evil 4 HD - doing a Professional run and just up to that bloody maze in the castle

Shadow Of The Colossus HD - only started it last night and defeated the first 3, it could be just me but i'm struggling with the grip/jumping mechanics much more than i did on the PS2. Maybe it's just because i haven't played it since 2006 i don't know

Played a fair bit of Jet Grind Radio. Graphics have aged a touch (this game is crying out for some aa) but it's still the definition of the word fun.

Started Tokyo Highway Challenge. Again it's aged a bit but the gameplay remains good.

Also, still trudging along in Final Fantasy I. Got the first gem (Henman fist) but don’t know where to go next.

COD MW3 (again) and an appointment with El Presidente (Tropico 4) have been taking up all my time this week on the Xbox 360, with some additional Lumines 2 on the PSP.
