Not so much what i've bought, but what i'm about to buy. bourne conspiracy.

i played the demo, loved it. the hand to hand fights i enjoyed. the shoot outs, all good. the driving, i can forgive. have had it on pre-order since the demo came out. but i'm hearing more and more people say it's a short game and it's worth a rent more than a purchase.

I haven't read every post, but mine would be The Simpsons: Hit and Run on the Gamecube. The graphics are an abortion, and the gameplay is like Driver-lite, but I am a Simpsons fan, and it's fun.

I'm sure there were others throughout the years, but my memory seems to have erased them.

Sadly not. It has been the source of some hilarious stories though, such as the time when one of my flatmates borrowed it and took part in a 24-hour sleep study where he had to stay awake all night and participate in various tests (he did it to earn some dollar and was looking for a way to pass the time while he was there). At the beginning of the test they asked a number of questions to gauge your responses in an 'alert' state. At the end of the test (after sleep deprivation) they did a reaction test using a mouse and strobe lights and asked bizarre ethical questions like would you kill a baby to save yourself?, would you break certain laws etc. Anyway, he ended up in a 'group' with mostly foreign students, whipped out The Bible Game, and they instantly thought he was a religious fanatic! A couple of hours later though they were converted, everyone was loving it playing such classic games as Jonah and the Whale and the alarming 'Kick the false idols' (into a fiery pit) minigame. Not sure how this might have affected the researchers' experiment, but a night involving four Cantonese speaking students and my mate shouting in unison to a Christian game provided some massive

Aerowings on the Dreamcast. I knew there was absolutely nothing to do in the game but I bought it anyway. And then played it all the time, just flying round and round. Weird.

I don't see anything wrong with that, I used to waste time sailing around on Wind Waker - I loved it.
