It is as straightforward as that Profit because the reason I mentioned those games is they never got released anywhere else in JPN pml 
I purposely didnt mention a worldwide games as I know each Sony division has their own targets and squabble over it for their cut of royalties (which is why Sony Europe get pissy about us importing consoles from outside europe as it affects their sales) and then the publisher in that region. I know one company could publish a game in JPN and it could be published by another company elsewhere like Ikaruga with Atari. When their purposely trying to stop games from being bought when their never going to be out anywhere else its harming noone as the publisher has got his money and thats it and they still region lock those games anyway.
Regarding Shumps generally they dont sell well in the west thats reason they dont get published nowt else as its a bad investment theirs rare cases like Gradius V but stuff like Battle Garraga onwards we just never get em. Alot of em are also small compaines in that genre and they just cant afford worldwide release without the backing of big western publishers, they are never intrested so they dont happen (where all still waiting for Raiden fighters on 360 in west) and thats why I get peed off when you have Sony Europe saying to them in no way sell to europe. Again though it still wouldnt make any sense as your argument for the re-releases in other regions not happening is cheaper prices but as they already are region protected so that also stops that argument. They cant use both of em its one or the other, either we have region protection to stop you buying games from other regions therefore you buy your import machine and game from that region feeding that regions cash or they release the game in your domestic region therefore you dont even have to import the console and machine and shutting Sony europe up and in the case of DDPdajou its import console and machine and profit going to the rightfull publisher. (and I know times are changing with PS3 with region free but this argument has been going on long before PS3). Handhelds have been region free so theirs no argument because their saying on one hand yep come to our country and play and buy our games on one hand then on the other saying dont if you dont have a handheld. That again would be doing the rightfull publisher out in europe if you go to JPN to buy it instead
