Ho hum. This has turned out to be a bit of an anti-climax so far.

I think that Sony should have asked publishers to patch their games so a larger %age of games had trophies from now - if they're considering this the next step to being Live!-like then it should have been a justifiable request. Certainly games that had a 360 version at least as it isn't like they'd have to spend time thinking what the trophies should be or even games with unlockable milestones like DMC4 and Dark Secto.

Buzz TV doesn't yet have trophies (just tried my promo copy). Pain spent an age updating but no trophies.

It's a shame Resistance and Ratchet haven't been patched either seeing as they have "skill points" like Resistance and Ratchet.

What! So MGS4 and GT5 don't have trophies? Or even GTA4? They are the big games you'd think would have it!

I know! Surely Sony have been prepping for this update for ages. Lord knows we've all been waiting long enough so I cant understand why (certainly with 1st Party titles) they haven't all been updated to include trophies.

Maybe they will be updated but I was really looking forward to playing some of my older games with a little bit of added incentive

I don't think Pain has any trophies at the moment.

Going to be updated before the week is out apparently, I'd assume along with the PSN updates tomorrow.

Basically, yeah. No points attached, but you 'level' based on what you get.

Well i tried to go online to play Golf and it said checking version and went to a black screen. had to go back to dash to fix it

How are the different ratings (Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum) applied to the trophies? Can you get a bronze then Silver trophy for the same thing or does each one have a different rating depending on how difficult it is?

Its a rating on how difficult it is, I think I also heard that platinum ones can only be unlocked once you've unlocked all the bronze and silver ones.

Yeh once you get all the trophys on a game you recieve a platinum trophy.
