3 months away and no gameplay or even solid details around. Not a good sign.

Just watched it again, your right, I suppose Ubisoft are well known for just showing CGI trailers before a games release, I remember the GRAW ones they did a few years back.

Hopefully if it turns out to be good i'll be getting it on PS3, I'm just abit worried that it'll be another terrible port though seeing as it's from Ubisoft, hopefully they've overcome those early problems.

It didn't say it was - it's just a trailer.

I think Duddy was referring to my original comment of not being sure whether it was CGI or in game.

Yeah that's cool, I was just pointing out that it was a trailer, nothing more I'll get me coat!

This is Jade Raymond's latest offering isn't it? I'm surprised she hasn't been pimping it half as much as she did Assassin's Creed, particularly if the release date is due so soon.

I wonder if NPC characters and their personalities potentially change depending on the contents of your inventory or if that's just a trailer mechanic. Hopefully it's more than just a linear traipse through a load of brown scenery.

I'm sure there's a thread for this somewhere, might actually have been mentioned in the E3 thread as that's when it was announced. Anyhow, here's a decent version of the trailer:

                *EDIT*

Weird, my copy of GamesTM just landed on the door step and this is the front cover. No screenshots in the article though. Oh and according to the developer Darkworks this has no involvement by Jade Redmond.

I think the practice of showing CGI trailers for games these days is complete folly, in-game visuals are almost at that standard anyway, so why not just use that? Surely the money and time spent on creating CGI would be better spent on the game itself?

Seems this is rumored to be a download game for PSN/360 rather than a retail release.

Ubisoft has transformed exciting survival disaster game I Am Alive from a full retail release into a PlayStation Networ…

Nah, you can apply for a rating months before launch. Sometimes you do it to gauge whether you need to make content cuts to hit the rating you want. With Australia being a tough one (lack of a decent M rating), you might try going through them first as a litmus test.

Bugger, would have been nice to see something get released this summer, lol. Still, at least it suggests it's not canned as it was looking worrying for a while

An age rating for mysterious Ubisoft game I Am Alive has been modified, suggesting the game is still very much alive.

                              More tiny rumblings
