PC Engine power cable question...

Hi folks.

Been offered a Jap PC engine, just the simple on thats like a square...




Just one problem, it has NO POWER SUPPLY (CABLE).

Now, would one off a SNES work??

Or one of them Cheepo ones, that allow you to change the volts and connections??

with one pad, no power supply, couple of games. you need to modify a 9v power supply. I have never bothered so its sold untested


What do you think and worth ?15?

I use the same one as a sfc/md and it all seems fine to me. If you want one then £15 sounds ok, what games dos it come with?

Yeah, a 9V PSU from a PAL MD/SMS will power it just fine.

Yup, I also use a SMS/MD PSU and it works a treat!
