They all seem to agree that the performance of Damned is a bit of a mess at times. What bothers me the most is that there does not seem to be a New Game + or anything.

Knowing EA, this will be budget priced within weeks. I think I'll wait.

Anyone know if the widely reported bugs (forced checkpoint restarts, etc.), screen tearing and so on, affect both versions equally? Got a rinsed copy of infamous 2 going spare so tempted by the Game ?4.99 deal, but I don't want a buggy mess at any price...

I haven't had any bugs with the 360 version besides some screen tearing and the usual Unreal texture pop in.

Sold DNF and caved anyway,

Didn't regret it one bit. Played for a few hours straight and this game is brilliant. Same kind of fun Bayonetta and Vanquish gave me. Writing is completely twisted, the book stories that Johnson reads for you are... its brilliant stuff. I actually laughed during this game, something that was hard to achieve with DNF.

Yeah, but EDGE are the same stupid, cockless monkey-spunks that gave Valkyria Chronicles a 7 and a half page review that read like they hadn't even played it, and they gave Gunstar Heroes a 6.

What the **** do EDGE know about games? **** all, that's what.

I haven't played Shadows, and I may dislike it, but what EDGE prints isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Oh man, how I hate that rag.

A perfect summary of Edge. Edge scores are totally meaningless to me. The Giant Bomb score is promising but I'll see what you guys here think.

I've played and finished it. Awaome game. Not perfect and it takes a little while to get in to the mechanics of the gameplay but once you do, you will be hooked. Laugh out loud funny at times too. This is the game Duke Nukem Forever dreams it was.

Edge are prententious monkeys.

Their reviews are always being written from a depressed standpoint, highlighting the negatives instead of the positives. Unless its Halo, or some game that Famitsu rated 40/40. Then they jump on the bandwagon.

I usually add up a few points and then I agree with the scores (I'd give VC a 9, Shadows a 7 or 8, etc..). Most games they score low, I like. I'm addicted to WKC2 at the mo, glad I bought it. Thanks Edge.
