It's not like that at all. We've adopted the Logans Run approach - when you're on as a moderator there's a coloured gem against each person... when it turns black, you're done.

Not sure what I'd do. Been a part of a few communities that have died - I usually find somewhere new, even if it never feels quite the same.

This is true. Even I got banned once - and after I became a mod to boot. All I did was post a link to a site with breasticles on it, and charlesr was straight there to serve up 24 hours to cool off in the slammer.
