I tell ya something, I was in the Game in Cheapside London this lunch and there was a really unhappy bloke in there criticising a woman who came in and got 2 Wii Fits once she saw they had stock. I am pretty sure she bought the units for reselling. Game should have done a one per customer.

Picked up mine today in GAME Burnley. Tried ringing Burnley and Blackburn yesterday morning with no answer, then tried again today on the off chance at around 11.20am. They were putting them out in the next 10 mins.

Asked them to save me one and they did, so I headed there straight away.

Not sure how many they got in stock, but they kepy a list, and there were about 15 numbers listed, with about 7-9 names taken.

Was in Gamestation in Birmingham today. Not too sure if it's still there as everyon in the queue left with a copy of it.

I managed to bag one from Argos online on Friday, standard price plus 5.95 shipping.

I pity everyone that's trying to get hold of one of these. I have just sold all my Wii bits and bots on eBay (never used it that much, this year anyway). My Wii Fit (launch unit, used only 3 or 4 times) managed to get over £83 (excluding the P&P). Which was very very good for me personally (I paid the RRP new) but it just shows that the run up to Christmas is going to generate some stupid pricing both on new and used. (Even my 1 year old Wii, just sold with 3 VC games, Kororinpa and a classic controller went for £157) - not much loss going on there....

The bright sparks at Game etc should be up in front of the firing squad at dawn for the bundling of these things, it's maybe good business sense, but highly morally dubious (and they know that Mums and Dads are going to pay any money to get this stuff for Christmas). I'm sure my Game mailing list spam mail last week was £99.99 and the 'bundle' was a 1GB SD card and a bit of silicone... shark infested waters, for sure...

Saw a bloke pit one up from ASDA in Cribbs Causeway Bristol today. I nearly went and got one myself, then remembered I'm going to sell my Wii.

People shouldn't be so stupid then. If people weren't so eager to please their spoiled children then these bundles wouldn't exist.

Just a thought, but those who are still hunting for a Wii Fit at normal RRP might want to try walking into their local Woolworths store.

I walked into mine (Leytonstone) about an hour ago and happened to snag one of two £70 units that were on full public view (behind the counter) and had been available for the last several days, according to the guy who served me.

I used my Wii Fit a lot the month I got and slowly trailed off. It's now in the corner of my room with a bunch of documents and magazines on it.

Probably not worth the money I paid for it, especially considering the shipping from America! Prospective Wii Fit buyers should think carefully before buying it, I am probably not alone in my experience.

Yeah, totally agree, that's why I sold mine. Without wanting to go O/T about it, IMHO it's a product that Nintendo's Original Target Market(tm) should probably avoid, and leave it to the 50 year old Mums within their New Target Market(tm) to pick up instead. I guess, like going to a real gym, it requires the mental discipline to actually do the exercises on the daily basis it seems to require of you.

I do suspect there will be a shed load of used Wii Fit on eBay come February...
