Any fans of IQ Kurushi Final PS (PAL) or IQ remix+ PS2

Ok So I posted this on Rllmuk so oppoogies to those who have allready seen this...But I'm desperate to find some other IQ (Remix+) players!

OK so this is one of those obscure puzzle games that I'm not to sure made it to a UK release, however I think the original IQ was released on the PS under the name of Kurushi Final - Mental Blocks...

Anyhoo I played this along with R5 allot when the PS2 first came out in japan (I borrowed a machine from work!) Since my initial blast I haven't played it, however I picked up a copy for ?2 last weekend and the addiction to the novel blast puzzler has started again, anyone else out there play IQ?

    Cheers

My ex had a PSOne and she had Kurushi PAL, it was pretty cool actually but I haven't played it for time! I do remember the booming AGAIN when you failed though!

I loved the demo of Kurushi for PSOne, but I never found the game in the shops.
I'm still looking for it, but no one I know seems to know it, let alone have it...

I also loved the demo but was unable to find it.

This was the 3d game where you had to destory the blocks in time so you didn't fall off the end? Ah yeah, you had to hit X in front of the boxes as they 'walked' towards you, which destoryed them - the aim was to not run out of space?

I remember the PS1 demo too, quite liked it but never saw it in shops.

I remember a PS1 game called 'Devil Dice', was that related to the series?

Nah devil Dice is something else...I've saw the PS one in Blockbuster Years Back (probably about the time I was playngi the Import PS2 version)...

Anywayhurrah for people that have actually played IQ! Get the PS2 version if you've got a chipped or jap machine its pretty much the same with better graphics and Rez style backgrounds!

            Cheers

              Damnit, I only have a PAL PS2

Devil Dice was also fab, you had to walk on the dice, rolling them around so the rows added up to 12...or something.

              (it's been a while)

I never knew there was a PS2 Kurushi/IQ - I'll have to track it down. Cheers!

The PS2 Devil Dice game, Xi Go, is about to be released in the states by Capcom as Bombastic, and I think it's due for a PAL release eventually too. Alternately, Play-Asia seems to be selling it for a tenner:

Online shopping for Import Video Games, Digital Codes, iTunes Cards, Mobage & PSN Cards, Movies, Music, Electronics, Computers, Software, Books, Apparel, Personal Care, Toys & more.

It's not as good as the amazing original DD, but it's still puzzlicious.

US, UK or JP, PSX or PS2, I don't care!
                  I want this game !!!

I think CEX may have some Jap PS2 IQ remixes probably only cost you a fiver too! There is little or no japanese text in the whole game so it's easilly played with no knowledge of japanes as long as you can negotiate memory card prompts, if you can't then let me know I pretty sure once you set it to auto save it's yes, yes yes etc anyway (the yes is in english too).

                    Cheers

I play Kurushi all the time. I recently found a PAL copy at a car boot.
It's a cool game, the levels are massive and get steadily harder.
                      I didn't know about a PS2 version though, where can I get a copy?...

The player is standing on a board on which dice were constantly appearing. You could change the face of the dice by rolling around on them.

To make the dice disappear you had to link up related numbers e.g:

                        2 X 2s
                        3 X 3s
                        5 X 5s

when you got one of these they would slowly sink into the floor. During this time you could join additional die of the same number to create a chain for major points! Also while the dice were sinking if you managed to link a 1 then all of the 1's on the board would disappear.

It's one of my favourite games on the PS1, the two minute time attack is just so addictive! I've been trying to get hold of the PS2 one for ages. I'm glad to hear they are releasing it in the US.

As for Kurushi I was never any good at it but my brother who hardly plays videogames at all was amazing at it. He seemed to have the strategy of the game locked down whereas I could never get it.

EDIT: Bombastic is released on 27th August.
