    Ninokuni: The Another World, New RPG by level 5 & studio ghibli

    Although this has been announced for a while i thought i'd create a thread for it, for those not in the know this game is a collaboration between level 5 (of professor Layton fame) & studio ghibli (of amazing anime film fame) a rpg which looks pretty amazing, what makes this rpg rather cool is the huge spellbook which comes with the game which you have to use to find the symbols to initiate spells.

    Heres a trailer.

          Im curious of the other platform thing at the end of the trailer as well, seeing how the ds version is, my guess that it might be for the wii as well but who knows. The game itself looks pretty interesting i'll look forward to working out more of the story. Hmm wonder if they have a website up for it yet?

          The amount of effort that has gone into the book that comes with the game is pretty amazing by todays game standards. I was half expecting a booklet or something but they have gone full out & made it look very cool. It certainly makes the limited edition rather desirable, i'll be getting this regardless of the costs.

          found the official site but no info there yet

            I went tingly watching that!

            So that's the LE edition, but I'm assuming the book comes with the regular one, too? Maybe some sort of dodgy paperback?

              Nobody cares about my threads ;_;

              Really looking forward to this, hope a Western release is made a high priority. Gonna be expensive to import, hope EU release isn't too long after the US.

                Didn't see that thread, maybe a thread merge is in order.

                There will be have to be some form of book for the regular edition or maybe a section in the manual showing you how to do the spells.

                            That'd certainly be nice, but I can't even find it on the release schedules of Japanese retailers/import sites, etc...
